Our History
Our company was established by Faustino Moine in May, 1960 like one-man business; since always the company has been working in the fruit wholesale trade. In few years the company has considerably developed and changed corporate name, taking up the current name S.E.P.O. of Moine F. & C. (import-export company of fruit).
The main activity of this company is the working and the preservation of agricultural products of Piedmont, and especially of those ones from the area of Saluzzo. The company dealt exclusively with apples and peaches at first, it then increased the fruit market, to coincide with the new plantations of this area, like apricots, pears, kiwis and many others; S.E.P.O. also deals with the working of the chestnuts and the import of potatoes.
The amounts of worked goods constantly raise as we can see from the turnover of about 10.800.000 euro in 1998 and it has now 35 seasonal and regular employees. We are proud that S.E.P.O. of Moine F. & C. is well known abroad because of its thirty-year of import-export business and the 80% of its turnover is with foreign countries.
